Simbu is trying to revive his old projects - and that too with reputed directors. It was earlier reported that he was joining hands with Gautham Menon for this purpose. Now the actor has taken yet another step further and would be working with Selvaraghavan to revive the film that was earlier shelved. Simbu even confirmed this news on a social networking site. He said that her was super excited and thrilled about this upcoming venture.

Selvaraghavan also showed his excitement and wrote that everybody will surely enjoy this upcoming film. Moreover, he was seen thanking his fans for their patience.

Another one elated with this news is Dhanush. The actor gave his good wishes to Simbu and his brother as well. Another thing Dhanush did, was to give some words of wisdom to Simbu. He advised Simbu to get ready to learn from Selvaraghavan.

Prior to starting the project with Selvaraghavan, Simbu would have to complete the shooting of Gautham Meno’'s film. The film hasn’t been titled yet and the filming is scheduled to start from this month itself. This was confirmed by Simbu on Twitter. He tweeted that he couldn’t wait to resume the shooting for the movie and it would begin this month.
