KV Anand is working on the script of his next movie. It was earlier reported that KV Anand would sign Rajinikanth for this movie, but Rajini was too busy with his ‘Lingaa’. Then the director approached  Ilayathalapathy for this role. But Vijay too, disappointed Anand as he was working on ‘Kaththi’, directed by ARM. Following this, there were rumors that the director presented the script before Dhanush, but things didn’t work out there too. Following this, KV Anand went to Thala Ajith, but the actor was busy with ‘Yennai Arinthaal’ directed by GVM.

According to sources, AGS Entertainment would be producing Vijay’s 60th film. AGS Entertainment handled the production of KV Anand’s both ‘Anegan’ and ‘Maatraan’. Hence it might be possible that they would produce Vijay’s 60th film as well. But the production house hasn’t officially announced any such news. It is not even confirmed that KV Anand will direct Vijay’s 60th film or not.

Vijay’s recent ‘Kaththi’ was a huge success and turned out to be the highest grossing Tollywood film of last year. Currently, the actor is busy with ‘Puli’ that is a fantasy film directed by Chimbudevan. It features Sridevi, Hansika Motwani and Shruti Haasan. T Shibu is producing it under the banner of SKT Studios.
